Chandra Arya is the CEO of Acleo Strategies Inc.

Chandra Arya is an accomplished public leader, former Member of Parliament in Canada (2015-2025), and seasoned business executive with over three decades of experience in international trade, industrial development, public policy and entrepreneurship. He has proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, engage with global leaders, and drive economic innovation at both governmental and corporate levels.

As a Member of Parliament, Arya served with distinction on key committees, including: Standing Committee on International Trade; Standing Committee on Industry and Technology; Public Accounts Committee

His contributions went far beyond Parliament. Prior to his political career, Arya held several leadership roles in civic and economic development:

• Vice President, Ottawa Community Immigrants Services Organization

Before entering politics, Arya was an executive in high-technology sector. Previously, he has worked as an engineer, then in a financial institution funding small industry, as an entrepreneur owned a small manufacturing company, and promoted industrialization in several countries. Arya was also as an investment advisor in a major Canadian bank.

He has over three decades of global experience at the intersection of international trade, industrial policy, technology, and geopolitics. Arya has engaged with heads of state, prime ministers, ministers and top officials in over 20 countries in discussions ranging from geopolitical & strategic issues to economic & trade matters.

Arya has met with global leaders including Prime Ministers of India, Bangladesh, Kurdish Region (Iraq), Presidents of Taiwan and Sri Lanka, Vice President of Taiwan (current president), foreign Ministers from India, South Korea, Nepal and several other countries

Arya has visited and met with ministers and officials from 20+ countries across Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe including India, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Côte d'Ivoire, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom, USA.

He has lived and worked in Canada, India, Oman and Qatar.
